Waves Sibilance Manual
  1. / 7) Threshold: Defines above which level processing begins.
  2. / 6) Detected sibilance sounds.
    Detection: more width means increased frequency range of detection. narrow for S, wider for SH (=wider frequency span)
    -> yellow colored sibilance (=detected) change when changing the value!
  3. / 8) Amount of reduction of sibilance sounds (Range = volume slider for sibilance sounds)
  4. Lookahead: improves detection, introduces latency (autocompensated by Cubase) (use when mixing)
  5. Monitor: Listen to detected sibilance only (turn off again)
    9. MODE: Wide (0) = entire frequency range of detected sibilance sound is reduced // Split (100) = only above 4k reduced (blend between) -> wide reduces more

Possible workflow:

  1. Set detection (make want you want reduced yellow)
  2. Set threshold
  3. Set range and mode to get perfect reduction of sibilance sound
